Enjoy traditional Kyoto style breakfast, while admiring the beautiful borrowed scenery of Higashiyama. Each dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail by our chefs. Tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar) made from seasonal ingredients and sansho (Japanese pepper) flavored “ojako” are homemade. We always add one of Kyoto’s representative seasonal ingredients such as yuba (bean curd skin) and kyoyasai (Kyoto vegetables).
Please enjoy the famous Miyama yogurt, made only from fresh milk and paired with homemade jam. The colorful vegetable garden-style salad is served with a homemade dressing made with Saikyo miso, which brings out the powerful natural flavor of the salad. Our famous Miyama heirloom eggs are used Japanese-style rolled omelette (dashimaki tamago)
Morning at Nikko Style Nagoya starts with a meal full of ingredients that are carefully selected and produced by the local farmers. We offer a choice of four main plates: three types of Western-style plates using locally produced high-quality eggs, and a Japanese-style set meals limited to 30 servings per day. In addition to the main plates, fresh salads, fruits, and sweets are served buffet style. Please also enjoy the morning blend by TRUNK COFFEE.
Enjoy the Sagano’s Kyoto style breakfast with simmered dishes, side dishes, dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette made with Kyoto’s finest eggs), and grilled fish, all meticulously seasoned to perfection using select vegetables and seasonal ingredients from contracted local farmers in Kyoto. You can choose from “steamed white rice” using Koshihikari rice locally grown in the Tango region of Kyoto, and “Kyoto style rice porridge” served with soup diligently extracted the flavors of katsuobushi (bonito flakes) and kombu (kelp) and seasoned with soy sauce and mirin. At our Japanese and Ryukyuan restaurant, “Sawa”, features a delightful array of Okinawan cuisine. Enjoy dishes like the “Ryukyu Hassun” set meal, “Kachuu-meshi” (bonito flakes rice), and the popular “Umi-budou don” (sea grape rice bowl). You’ll also find traditional Okinawan favorites such as “Ninjin shiri-shiri” and “Juushii”, along with fresh salads and desserts.
Enjoy the breakfast buffet in the elegant atrium lobby of Hotel Okura Manila, offering a wide selection of Japanese and International dishes daily from Mondays through Sundays.
