In the Hokkaido/Tohoku area, there are many must-see spots, including Mt. Moiwa, which offers a dynamic view of the land of Hokkaido, and Akiu Great Falls, one of the most famous waterfalls in Sendai.
Mt. Moiwa (Sapporo, Hokkaido)
Mt. Moiwa is located almost in the center of Sapporo City. At the summit of the 531m high mountain, you can enjoy a panoramic view of not only the city of Sapporo, which is said to be a city of 2 million people, but also Ishikari Bay on the Sea of Japan and Mt.
The daytime view overlooking the vast expanse of land under a blue sky, the magic hour changing moment by moment from evening to sunset, and the romantic night view—all times are recommended.

Akiu Otaki Fall (Sendai, Miyagi)
The famous Akiu Great Falls in Sendai is a direct waterfall where the entire flow of the Natori River drops 55m high and 6m wide at once. Along with Nachi Falls and Kegon Falls, it is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan.
Needless to say, the beauty of the falls during the season of fresh green leaves and autumn foliage is unparalleled, but the majestic appearance of the falls amidst a blanket of snow during the harsh winter season is also exceptional.
